Up for sale an original Indian mughal box 19th century or early 20th century
The body with eight curved edge panels decorated with scrolling floral vine and royal family scenes.
On top a large image of a royal scene,  these hand painted figures are derived from Illustrations from a Manuscript of the Rasikapriya of Kesava Das – Mughal Period during the early 17th century.
Measures 12″ L X 8.5″ W X5″ H.
Box is in good condition consistent with age, missing paint on parts of artwork, please check the pictures for condition.
